Water Main Leak Leads to Rush Hour 309 Closure
A water main leak will restrict rush hour traffic on Route 309 between E. Hopewell Road and E. Valley Road.
The Upper Saucon Water Department has detected a leak in a water main along PA 309 between E. Hopewell Road and E. Valley Road. The Water Department is working diligently to perform emergency repairs on the line.
Due to the location of the leak and urgency for its repair, the Water Department has been forced to close one lane of PA 309 North between E. Hopewell Road and E. Valley Road.
The closure will last through the evening rush, but the crews hope to have the main repaired this evening.
