Emmanouil Papageorgiou, 40, of Center Valley is charged with harassment and driving without a license for allegedly following two young girls in Hellertown

An Upper Saucon Township man was cited for harassment and driving without a license Sept. 4 after he allegedly followed girls who were walking home in the area of High and Washington streets, Hellertown Police announced Thursday.

In a press release, police said officers were investigating a complaint about a man who was following girls in a vehicle when Emmanouil Papageorgiou, 40, drove past them and was identified as the suspect.

Police said Papageorgiou's alleged behavior frightened the girls, who are juveniles.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:45pm and Papageorgiou was stopped by officers in the 1400 block of Washington Street, according to the press release.

Wow Hellertown police are a joke!!!!! Along with Upper Saucon Patch! Leaving out all the information! The guy was a pizza delivery man delivering pizza! There were witnesses and cops saw that and still took him in. I don't blame the girls for getting scared when a car slowed down by them but what an embarrassment to the police! The pizza man went home that same night.
