More than a week after she was reported missing, Sweetie the dog has returned to her Center Valley home. 

Sweetie, whose owner Bridget Blitz blogs for Upper Saucon Patch, disappeared over a week ago after being startled out of her yard. Frantically searching for her missing pup, Blitz turned to Upper Saucon Patch to post a breaking news alert. 

Blitz writes: 

"It is a miracle that after nine days in the cold and snow, our dog, Sweetie, is back home. A kind family on Honeysuckle Road found her and called the police who brought her to us! We are thrilled and will slowly fatten her up again. She is quite skinny but seems relieved, too!"
