'Most Prestigious:' Saucon Valley Country Club Earns Exclusive Ranking

Saucon Valley Country Club has been named one of the world's 'most prestigious,' according to a ranking by LINKS magazine.

A LINKS magazine list of the world's 100 "most prestigious" golf clubs includes Saucon Valley Country Club, which dates back to 1920 and a founding group of Bethlehem Steel executives.

Augusta National in Georgia topped the exclusive ranking.

Saucon Valley made the list thanks to its facilities and history of hosting golf championships.

LINKS calls Saucon Valley "one of the largest and most distinguished clubs in North America." The club has hosted six U.S. Golf Association championships.

The club spans more than 800 acres and includes:

  • Three 18-hole courses
  • Six-hole course

It's funny that you think only republicans and tea party type are the only ones that are weathly. Might want to take a look at John Corzine and others on the Dem side.

Last time I checked, the most frequent golfer in the world, President Obama, was a Democrat. I understand he is getting tired of golfing at Andrews, however, and wishes to golf at Saucon Valley Club. I sure the members are thrilled.

Nearly half in Congress are millionaires. In the top 15.....Kerry, Rockefeller, Warner, Polis, Lautenberg, Blumenthal, Feinstein, Pelosi. All democrats, leaving the other 7 spots for the republicans.
