LCTI on Lockdown After Nearby Armed Robbery
Lehigh Career and Technical Institute takes precautions as police search for armed home invader.
Update: According to the LCTI webiste, students were dismissed at normal school time. According to WFMZ, the police have not released information on the suspect. It is unknown whether he or she is still at large.
Lehigh Career and Technical Institute (LCTI) was on lockdown after an armed home invasion was reported in a nearby neighborhood.
According to WFMZ, the robbery took place in a home on Sand Spring Road in Schnecksville late this morning. State police first reported the robbery to LCTI administrators as a precaution, stating the robber was still at large.

Administrators stressed to WFMZ that the lockdown was only a precaution, and that all entrances to the school campus were being monitored by police.
No word yet from Southern Lehigh on how many students are currently at LCTI from the district.

im a student at lcti and the lock down was not nesaccary i think schols need to calm down a little
