Here's What You Need to Head to the Polls Today

These are the candidates running in races in Upper Saucon, Coopersburg, Lower Milford and for Southern Lehigh School Board in today's election.

The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. today.

Six candidates are vying for five seats on the Southern Lehigh School Board. Seeking four-year terms are incumbent Republicans Jeffrey Dimmig and John Quigley and incumbent Democrat William Miracle. Incumbent Corinne A. Gunkle is running on both the Republican and Democratic tickets. Newcomers William Lycett and James C. Lindsay Jr. are also running on both tickets.

In Lower Milford Township, Donna Wright and Bruce Kaplan face off for a six-year term as township supervisor. Wright is the incumbent and Kaplan is the challenger.

Mike Snovitch is running unopposed for reelection to a two-year term as supervisor. 

In Coopersburg, Republicans John E. Felch Jr. and John A. Walters are running unopposed for four-year terms on borough council. No Democrats are running and there are three seats open.

In Upper Saucon, Patrick M. Leonard and Dennis Benner are running unopposed for six-year terms as township supervisors.

In addition, area voters will get to weigh in on several state and local judicial races, plus races for Lehigh County commissioners and county row offices, such as sheriff and district attorney.
