Why Go: This is the perfect frugal family Valentine’s Day activity, especially if you have toddler or preschoolers. Grab some brunch, shop at the outdoor venues and enjoy walking around in the the twenty degree difference in temperature because Spring is around the corner—yeah!

Where/When: Stabler Arena, Bethlehem Friday at 7:00 p.m.
Why Go: Watch the Globetrotters take on the Washington Generals in a full court press of trick shots and comedic antics that be a sure hit for the entire family.

- MASTER CHOREOGRAPHERS (Muhlenberg Master Choreographers)
Where/When: Baker Center of the Arts at Muhlenberg College, Allentown. Shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. & a 2 p.m. Saturday Matinee performance. Why Go: Because you love dance and marvel at the grace and beauty of the human form, and this performance will be far less neurotic an nightmare inducing than seeing Black Swan. Take the kids or go with your significant other.

- I HEART ZOO, LEHIGH VALLEY ZOO (Lehigh Valley Zoo)
Where/When:5150 Game Preserve Rd. Schnecksville, Saturday at 10 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Why Go: Because who doesn’t love animals and your kids can make fun zoo valentines while encounter animals like emu’s, llamas, kangaroos and zebras.
Pricing: Tickets are $7.75 regardless of age but group rates for 15+ are available.
- HUNT FOR HISTORY – FOLLOW YOUR HEART (Historical Bethlehem Events)
Where/When: Kemerer Museum, 427 N. New St. Bethlehem; Saturday noon 4 p.m.
Why Go: Part of an adventure series where children hunt for historical details to achieve the rank of researcher, investigator or historian, the museum will feature Victorian Valentine’s and the history of giving Valentine’s, a reminder of all the intriguing aspects of love - adventure, mystery & creativity.
