About this column: From the PA Food Safety Website- "Disclosure: Please remember that any inspection is a 'snapshot' of the day and time of the inspection. An inspection conducted on any given day may not be representative of the overall, long-term cleanliness of an establishment. Also, at the time of the inspection, violations are recorded but are often corrected on site prior to the inspector leaving the establishment" Related Topics: Lehigh County Health Inspections and Restaurant Inspections Southern Lehigh

Your improperly constructed table makes it look like the Middle School has a violation. This violation belongs to Prontos Pizza.

Since your job is to report news, it might help your readers if you listed number and general type of violations. That way not everybody has to look them all up. Listing both Pronto and Marios as "out of compliance" really only tells a small part of the story, huh?

Hi, @Mike,

As always, thanks for the constructive and helpful feedback! I do see that the table has a hiccup, and I will work to correct it. As the article states, I hope that you take the opportunity to delve into the code violations on the website. If you feel it would be more helpful for this brand-new feature to list each violation, we will certainly look into it, but listing everything could also be perceived in and of itself as misleading, as many are corrected when they are noted, but that correction isn't listed in the report (see the "about this column" notation at the end of the article).

As always, we will try to work harder to keep the community as informed as possible. Thanks again, and keep reading Patch!

Elizabeth
