Catch Classic Movies at Promenade Wednesdays at Noon

Movie lovers can take advantage of a special lunchtime deal at the Carmike at the Promenade Shops Wednesdays at noon in March.

If you are a classic movie fan, you may want to try to plan ahead to take a long lunch on Wednesday – and every Wednesday for the rest of the month for that matter.

That’s because Carmike Cinemas at the Promenade Shops is running a special classic movie series on Wednesdays at noon in March that you just may not be able to pass up.

For $3 admission, movie-goers get to enjoy a feature-length classic film, a 46-ounce popcorn to munch while watching, and a 16-ounce soda with which to wash it down.

This Wednesday’s noon feature is the 1945 thriller, “Detour,” starring Tom Neal and Ann Savage.

Future Wednesday noon showings include:

  • March 19 - "Father’s Little Dividend"
  • March 26 - "Giant"
