KidsPeace Announces New Executive Director of Hospital
KidsPeace, a national organization devoted to giving hope, help and healing to children, families and communities, is pleased to announce that John G. Lees, LSW has joined the organization as the Executive Director of the KidsPeace Psychiatric Hospital on the Orchard Hills Campus in Orefield, PA. Lees’ duties will include overseeing all aspects of the hospital’s operations including, staffing, program development and quality of patient care.
Prior to joining KidsPeace, Lees spent nine years with Magellan Health Services, first as a Child & Adolescent Care Manager and more recently served as the Child & Adolescent Care Management Supervisor, overseeing the clinical operations for the Children’s Care Management Department. Prior to Magellan Health Services, Lees worked in a variety of behavioral healthcare settings including community mental health, psychiatric inpatient units and adolescent treatment facilities. Lees received his Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Westfield State College and his Masters of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. He is married and has two young sons. The family resides in Hanover Township.
The KidsPeace Psychiatric Hospital is one of the largest free-standing child and adolescent psychiatric hospitals in the United States.
