Back for Leftovers: Play With Your Food at Da Vinci Science Center
The Da Vinci Science Center’s (DSC) popular Play With Your Food Thanksgiving visitor activities will be tastier and more fun than ever when they return from Nov. 23-26.
This year’s food-flavored science activities will include a finger-licking-good green pea DNA extraction, a corn kernel dig, a tablecloth yank challenge, a turkey feather plucking for prizes, and opportunities to blast carrot cannons.
All Play With Your Food activities will be included with paid Da Vinci Science Center admission and will be available Friday, Nov. 23, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 24, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 25, from 12-4 p.m.; and Monday, Nov. 26, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Thanksgiving weekend visitors also can experience the world-famous Bodies Revealed exhibition, presented by St. Luke’s University Health Network as part of the Da Vinci Science Center’s Year of the Human Body project. Bodies Revealed is available with an additional $10.00 per charge per visitor, or $8.50 for Center members. Bodies Revealed is produced by Premier Exhibitions, Atlanta, Ga.
